Hi there, fellow beach lover!

Like many, I always dreamt of owning a vacation home near the ocean. I had my eyes set on a specific spot, but the real estate market was hot like a Florida summer at the time, making it very hard and practically unaffordable for me to buy. Feeling defeated, I stopped my search for a few months and began considering other destinations.

As luck would have it, an opportunity came up on Florida’s East Coast, and I took it. I bought the house remotely, pretty much sight unseen. It was only after visiting my new vacation home that I discovered State Road A1A. This scenic road runs along Florida’s entire Atlantic coast into the Keys, and is a vibrant area with lots of things to do and with potential for further business development.

I created FloridA1A to showcase, from my perspective and through inspiring stories, the area’s unique places, people, businesses, and innovative ideas that go beyond the usual tourist trail. I hope you enjoy reading it and it encourages you to visit.
